I’ve been using Bassett Small engine repair since I’ve lived in the area on 2015. They were right down the road from my house at the time I moved here. They’ve always performed prompt inexpensive service with excellent quality. Bill and Rose are the best - down to earth, reasonable, and kind. They won’t sell you on something you don’t need. You can’t take your lawn equipment to a better place.
Very courteous and professional folks. They were here when expected and did awesome work. Nothing was wrong with one of my mowers; they informed me it was fine and didn't charge me anything to look at it! I would use them and recommend them to anyone!

The Bassett’s are a down to earth and very respectable people. Very knowledgeable at what they do and Rose is such a sweetheart.
Bill handled entire process from start (picking up my golf cart) to finish (dropping it back off at my home) and in between performed the annual maintenance requirements for my cart. It's running like a new one.
Replaced a broken casting on my cam shaft used for compression release when starting. Actually starts better now that when it was new. Very good work.
Purchased a zero turn Redmax 2 months ago. Very pleased with it. Bill and Rose are as honest as the day is long. Not only do I have a new mower, I have two new friends. I won't go anywhere else for service. The world needs more people like Bill and Rose. God Bless.
Bill and Rose are great folks! Since moving here they have serviced all our our equipment. We take advantage of their yearly service plan and when it's time for that first spring mow, everything is in perfect working order and ready to go. They have educated me on proper maintenance tips and I've learned a lot. When my commercial Bunton got older, I did research and replaced it with a RedMax from Bill. It's a great machine and I'm looking for years of good service from it. Bill is a great mechanic: knowledgeable and exacting, but best of all honest in all aspects. I would not go anywhere else!
I have recently moved here from up north, was starting up a small lawn mowing business. Met with Bill and Rose over the winter to inquire about servicing and maintaining my mower. After my meeting with them, I knew I was in good hands. Maintaining equipment is the key to have it last for years. I just picked up my mower from routine service. Experience was great as usual and Bill actually went out of his way to address other important issues pertaining to the mower. I am planning on buying a new REDMAX mower in the fall, and another the following year. I wish more companies out there would take note of what these folks are doing. I would recommend everyone to give them a try. I promise you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Bill and Rose!!
